Eagle Watch is a golf/swim/tennis community in the heart of Towne Lake. The community was developed by Arvida and homes started going up in the mid 1980’s. There are over 1300 homes in Eagle Watch now and their prices range from the mid $100’s to the upper $500’s. After you drive into Eagle Watch through their impressive entrance, you’ll notice professionally managed landscaping intertwined with mature trees to give the feel of a very established community. Eagle Watch also borders U.S. Corp of Engineer property on three sides, so you can enjoy a wooded buffer there as well.
The focal point of this community is their Arnold Palmer designed golf course. This 18 hole, par 72 course is a tight, tree lined course with out-of-bounds stakes lining many of the fairways. The course was cut out of a forest and built on rolling hills. There are many man-made ponds that come into play. The course is semi private and has many types of golf activities throughout the year. Bu tyou can’t just focus on golf. Eagle Watch boasts some impressive swim and tennis facilities as well. They have 14 tennis courts, 3 pools, basketball courts and two playground areas that offer a very wide range of activities for botht adults and children.
