There are currently 24 houses for sale in the Towne Lake community of Deer Run. The lowest is priced at $218,900 and the highest at $368,000. Let’s take a look at what sold in Deer Run in the 2nd quarter of 2007.
April - 2 Sales with an average price of $243,750 and an average of 33 days on the market.
May - 7 Sales with an average price of $261,613 and an average of 57 days on the market.
June - 8 Sales with an average price of $233,190 and an average of 65 days on the market.
As I posted yesterday, Cherokee County is slow at updating tax records, so these numbers could fluctuate a little bit as more records are added to the system. If that happens, I will update this post. If you would like more detailed Deer Run real estate statistics, send me an e-mail.

In the month of August, Deer Run saw 5 homes be placed under contract to sell and 3 homes sell, according to FMLS.
The homes that sold in Deer Run were:
- 505 Old Field Cove sold on August 15th for $292,000 which was 99.01% of its original asking price. This 4 bedroom, 3 and a half bathroom cul-de-sac home was on the market for 14 days.
- 4213 Mocassin Trail sold on August 3rd for $245,000 which was 96.11% of its original asking price. This 4 bedroom, 2 and a half bathroom home was on the market for 77 days.
- 214 Beaver Creek Lane sold on August 16th for $209,000 which was 87.26% of its original asking price. This home had 4 bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms and was on the market for 128 days.
The homes that went under contract in Deer Run were:
- 702 Standing Turkey Court went under contract on August 16th. The original asking price was $289,900 for this 5 bedroom, 3 and half bathroom home.
- 7056 Hunters Ridge went under contract on August 3rd. This home 4 bedroom, 3 and a half bathroom home was originally $284,900.
- 1313 Cobblestone Lane went under contract August 7th. This home has 4 bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms and was originally priced at $257,900.
- 8031 Ridgevalley went under contract on August 4th. The original asking price for this home was $279,900
- 4243 Mocassin Trail went under contract on August 29th. This 4 bedroom, 2 and a half bathroom home was priced at $244,900.
- 4231 Mocassin Trail went under contract on August 1st. The original asking price for this 4 bedroom, 2 and a half bathroom home was $219,900.

- The average sales price was $213,819
- The average number of days on the market was 60
- And the percentage of sales price to original listing price was 98.57%
- In 2004, 73 homes sold in Deer Run
- The average list price was $225,569
- The average sales price was $221,763
- The average number of days on the market was 48
- And the percentage of sales price to original listing price was 98.31%
- In 2005, 76 homes sold in Deer Run
- The average list price was $240,301
- The average sales price was $236,501
- The average number of days on the market was 55
- And the percentage of sales price to original listing price was 98.42%
Deer Run has been seeing some steady appreciation over the past two years. From ‘03 to ‘04 sales prices grew by 3.7% and between 2004 and 2005 sales price growth was 6.64%.
