Mortgage rates have fallen three straight weeks and five of the last six weeks. The benchmark 30 year fixed rate sits at 6.57%. This recent trend is seeing a rise in mortgage applications, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association.

Township Place is one of the three communities that makes up Towne Lake Hills South. These appreciation figures are only for Township Place and not all of Towne Lake Hills South combined.
- In 2003, 10 homes sold in Township Place
- The average list price was $199,500
- The average sales price was $195,695
- The average number of days on the market was 62
- And the percentage of sales price to original listing price was 98.09%
- In 2004, 10 homes sold in Township Place
- The average list price was $199,494
- The average sales price was $197,270
- The average number of days on the market was 50
- And the percentage of sales price to original listing price was 98.89%
- In 2005, 12 homes sold in Township Place
- The average list price was $203,516
- The average sales price was $203,687
- The average number of days on the market was 57
- And the percentage of sales price to original listing price was 100.08%
Township Place has been slowly climbing in average sales price. Between 2003 and 2004, there was a 0.8% rise in average sales price. Between 2004 and 2005 the appreciation rate was 3.2%.
